What the price checker is measuring
The output is a decision aid, not a universal score. “Buy Zone” means the entered price is close enough to the entered observed low for the stated play timing. “Wait” means the gap or backlog timing creates a clear case for setting a target. “Verify” means the evidence is incomplete or the checkout is a free claim that still needs an official destination and deadline check. “Compare” covers the middle ground where edition, store and timing should decide.
The evidence-strength number measures how much context you supplied. This boundary matters because game identity can change. A Definitive Edition may replace a base edition. A bundle can include DLC. A retailer key may activate on Ubisoft Connect while another offer adds the game to Steam. Combining those prices into one historical floor would create a precise-looking but misleading number. 1. Freeze the product identity
Write down the full edition, included content, activation platform and account region before comparing. If one page says “Ultimate” and another says “Standard,” stop.
