DealCheckpoint does not require accounts. Your saved watch list and target prices remain in your browser. Some optional actions temporarily contact Steam or pricing providers.

Advertising — current status
DealCheckpoint uses Adsterra display banners, a Native Banner, one Social Bar unit and clearly labelled Smartlink placements on eligible public pages. Very wide desktop screens may also show two fixed sponsored-offer side rails; these are hidden on smaller screens. The side rails are ordinary sponsored links shown to every visitor on eligible pages and do not contact Adsterra until clicked. Other Adsterra units may load automatically outside regions requiring a prior advertising choice; in prior-choice regions their code remains unloaded until the visitor accepts advertising. A stored rejection is respected for those optional ad technologies. When active or clicked, Adsterra and its advertising partners may process device, browser, IP address, referral, page-view and ad-interaction information and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, secure, limit and measure ads. First-party measurement — current status
DealCheckpoint does not load Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity by default. We may collect Core Web Vitals together with the page path, broad device class and time, plus aggregated product actions such as a search submission, saved Radar target, comparison add, filter choice, calendar export or retailer-link click. These records contain no account ID, email address, advertising identifier or cross-site cookie and are retained for up to 90 days so we can improve slow or confusing pages. Analytics or Clarity scripts activate only after the relevant provider ID and explicit consent-readiness setting are configured.
Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process connection data (such as IP address, request headers and basic traffic metrics) to deliver the site, provide DDoS protection and operate its network. See Cloudflare's privacy documentation for details about their processing as a service provider.
Data stored in your browser
Your saved watch list, target prices, comparison tray, saved deal view, recent searches and region selection remain in your browser's localStorage. We do not create an account or store those preferences as a user profile on our servers.
Steam wishlist import
When you choose to import a public Steam wishlist, the profile URL or SteamID is transmitted temporarily to retrieve that public wishlist. We do not create an account or store the imported identifier as a user profile.
My Radar price refresh
When My Radar refreshes prices, game identifiers may be sent to the pricing provider to retrieve current offers. Those requests are for the lookup you initiated and are not used to build a personal advertising profile on DealCheckpoint.
What we do not do
We do not require account registration, do not sell personal profiles, and do not ask for payment card details on this site. Purchases happen on official retailer sites.
Retention
Browser localStorage remains until you clear it. Server-side request logs may be retained by Cloudflare according to their infrastructure policies. Emails you send to us are kept only as long as needed to handle the request.
Children's privacy
DealCheckpoint is a general-audience PC gaming information site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a contact channel, email privacy@dealcheckpoint.com.
Your choices
Where a prior choice is required, you can accept or reject optional advertising before it loads. In every region you can change the advertising setting through Privacy choices in the footer. The choice is stored in your browser and a rejection is respected on later visits. Rejecting ads does not restrict DealCheckpoint content. You can also block or delete cookies and clear DealCheckpoint localStorage at any time.
